A lovely client reached out to us with the sweetest request: she wanted to surprise her husband with a romantic luxury picnic on a boat during a sunset cruise in Puerto de Santa María. We knew right away that it had to be unforgettable — blending elegance, intimacy, and the natural beauty of Cádiz’s coastline.

Planning started days before the cruise. Our team curated the perfect combination of décor, gourmet bites, and ambiance that would feel both personal and extraordinary. Because this was a surprise, every detail had to be discreet yet impactful — from the seating arrangement to the table styling.
The Decoration
Instead of bringing in a separate table, we embraced the boat’s own table as the centerpiece of the design. We styled it with soft neutral linens, elegant tableware, and delicate touches of décor that elevated the setting while blending naturally with the boat. Cushions and cozy throws were added to ensure comfort, and fresh seasonal flowers brought a pop of romance. As the sun began to dip lower, lanterns and candles were placed to create a soft golden glow that matched the colors of the horizon.
The Gourmet Touch
Of course, no luxury picnic is complete without a feast for the senses. We prepared a grazing board with artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, seasonal fruits, and freshly baked bread, complemented by chilled beverages. Every bite was not only delicious but also beautifully arranged to add to the overall aesthetic of the experience.
